“If you want to hear God laugh, make plans.”

I need to remember that.

If it's not my daughter throwing a wrench in well thought out works works, it's Apple, bringing me to my knees.

I've had to remind my self that lost day(s) are part of life.

Thanks, Debbie. I, too, hate those yowch moments. "If you want to hear God laugh..." is one of my favorite lines. The friend I learned it from also quotes the John Lennon lyric "life is what happens when you're busy making other plans." ...though I'm not sure John Lennon had technology breakdowns in mind when he wrote it. Another oft-repeated mantra of my friend's: "God give me patience -- and give it to me right now!"
