Another gorgeous essay, Jon. Makes us want to come for dinner at your house, spy on faeries and fireflies, and revel in the magic and bliss of the profoundly heightened senses of the summer..the scent of sage and basil on the hand is good enough as it is, even before adding to the summer meal. Bravo!
